For our office in Milan, Low | The Big Now, part of Dentsu Aegis Network, is looking for a UX Specialist who will be responsible for setting up, running, and reporting on all aspects of qualitative and quantitative user experience research. The goal of the UX Specialist is to develop a deeper understanding of Agency clients and deliver findings that can translate insights into action.

As UX Specialists you’ll work with designers, project managers and development leaders to create solutions, serving as a client advocate to ensure the highest level of usefulness, desirability and client satisfaction. You will combine interfaces and workflows to enhance user experience. In this role, you should be an analytical and creative resource who is able to grasp user needs and solve problems. As the project evolves, you will conduct user testing and other user-facing activities to validate the design, interaction and content. A strong portfolio of successful UX and other technical projects is essential. In addition, UX Specialist must be able to work in a team environment in order to share information and collaborate on solution, using a strong verbal and written communication skills.


  • Collects, reviews, and assist in refining client requirements
  • Partners with Business Systems Analysts and the UX and Design team in collecting briefs and prioritizing business questions.
  • Participates in short- and long-term project efforts with stakeholders and IT groups
  • Designs and conducts user research using methods such as: ethnographic field studies, participatory design sessions, site visits, focus groups, benchmark studies, usability studies, heuristic evaluations, and similar approaches
  • Converts research findings into actionable results.
  • Designs prototypes, screen mockups, and wireframes based on the results of usability testing and customer feedback
  • Communicates analysis, recommendations, and potential design solutions verbally and through documentation to the project team and key stakeholders including product managers, visual designers, and other UX and Design team members.
  • Works collaboratively with interaction designers and other user experience professionals to define and improve the user experience
  • Helps maintain the UX research library and toolkit.
  • Keeps abreast of competitor products and industry trends


  • 3+ years of experience in conducting user experience research using a variety of research methods
  • Background in project management and research
  • Familiarity with the production of design documents such as wireframes, personas, user flows, behavioral specifications and similar
  • Knowledge of one or more design tools such as OmniGraffle, Axure, Sketch, Invision, Balsamiq or similar
  • Knowledge of the main Analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
  • Knowledge of the main UX Design Methodologies
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus
  • Knowledge of the current design paradigms
  • Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
  • Ability to collaborate with visual designers and front-end developers
  • Good level of English language, both written and spoken
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
