The YNAP Off-Season division (theoutnet.com and yoox.com) are hiring a veteran UX Manager with deep-rooted knowledge of the luxury e-Commerce sector. With a passion for digital product design and the leadership skills to manage a diverse team of researchers and designers across Italy and the UK, the User Experience manager will operate within a dynamic and fast-paced creative environment.

Reporting into the Off-Season eCommerce Director, the UX Manager will drive continuous improvement of theoutnet.com and yoox.com app and website interactive experiences. He or she will champion data-driven design and customer centricity, leading user research and benchmarking efforts to steer interaction design and prototyping focused on generating value for business.

Highly creative with a sharp eye for detail, we are seeking an individual with the influence and verve to pitch disruptive design concepts to senior stakeholders and consolidate the User Experience team’s position at the heart of product design for YOOX and The Outnet.


  • Define, develop, and promote the UX Design strategy across theoutnet.com and yoox.com website and mobile apps
  • Oversee interaction design, wire-framing, and proto-typing conducted by UX Designers across multiple office locations, in close collaboration with technical and business teams
  • Manage user researching and benchmarking activities, running focus groups, user tests, and competitive analyses conducted by UX researchers and supporting teams
  • Lead design studios and workshops to propose innovative design concepts in line with the pillars of the YNAP business strategy
  • Oversee quality and delivery of content and copy developed by UX writers
  • Maintain a sharp focus on emerging trends and technologies within the eCommerce sector
  • Ensure a strong focus on business KPI’s and user metrics throughout the definition, development, A/B testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement of on-site experiences
  • Maintain a close working relationship with eCommerce Product Owners and Front End developers to ensure quality of service and timely deliveries
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience UX Design, Interaction Design, Information Design, and/or UX Research
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a managerial role, leading a team of UX Designers and/or researchers
  • Deep knowledge of user-centered design principles and agile methodologies
  • Extensive experience creating high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes for customer facing digital experiences, preferably within the fashion e-Commerce sector
  • Extensive experience conducting user testing, data analysis, and A/B testing
  • Knowledge of common A/B testing methodologies and toolkits
  • Experience generating customer insights from quantitative and qualitative analyses
  • Experience leading and facilitating design studios, creative workgroups, and brainstorming sessions
  • Knowledge of Sketch, inVision and Adobe creative suite (Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Basic experience generating html templates and style-sheets is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS is preferred
  • Basic proficiency with Google Analytics
  • Proficient knowledge of English and Italian
