Our product is being used by 100+ cities around the world everyday. You’ll be the one to ensure our users have a smooth and easy product experience. Therefore, you will collaborate closely together with our users, product manager and engineers. Your main responsibility is to rapidly iterate through design solutions from concept to the final UI. We're a fast growing company and the problems you will face are often challenging and diverse. Some of the tasks you will be working on are:
- Translate user research and business requirements into customer journeys, user flows and wireframes
- Create clickable prototypes and pixel-perfect designs
- Conduct user research and usability tests to validate your design solutions with users
- Evolve and maintain our design system, creating and maintaining UI libraries, mockups, prototypes and icon sets
- Advocate for the customer and follow user-centered design principles
- Support and validate your work through analysis of quantitative and qualitative data
- Contribute to high-level strategic decisions with the rest of the product team
requirements
To be successful in this role you need to have:
- 3+ years of in-house experience working on UX/UI of complex products, ideally in a startup environment
- Relevant undergraduate degree or formal qualification
- Strong experience with UX processes (e.g. user research, usability testing, interface design, etc.)
- Clean visual design sense with high attention to details
- Ability to understand technical implications in your design decisions
- Excellence in design tools, ideally in Figma
- Strong track record in building and maintaining design systems, ideally using design tokens
- Experience collaborating with engineers to define, develop, launch and maintain products
- You're self-driven and get things done autonomously, but you also enjoy being a team player who communicates concisely and well-reasoned
- German is a very strong plus
